dzakye The francoprovencal language (not an 'oil' language - the way we pronounce 'yes' - as French, not an 'oc' language as 'occitan' in the south of France) , the original mother tongue of all the people in France, Italy and Switzerland around Mont Blanc, is an 'endangered species'. Our language hasn't been endangered by any 'predators'. Our parents (my mother too) have just decided
to let the old language go because it symbolised the 'old world', and misery, like cows, pigs, goats, hens and agriculture in general.
