Abao (Ah-bao) is a Chinese peasant singer, also known as the Prince of Northern/Northwestern Chinese Folk Songs. His Aboriginal Singing style is unprecedented because his voice can reach a high pitch of "double 8C". Born in a peasant family, starting to publicly perform folk songs at his age of 12, and having experienced a tough life, he has been widely recognized as one of the best folk song singers in China. His success came from his persistent efforts.
